Pamela Anderson has been consistent with her decision to go makeup-free, which she admits is her way of leaving behind her former persona as a Hollywood “cartoon character.” She noted that being a Playboy model with a near-perfect portrayal of beauty was fun while it lasted but not anymore.
The 57-year-old left the acting scene to rebrand herself from a sex symbol to a more natural version of herself. Although the tough choice to move back home to Canada appears to have paid off, Pamela revealed that she was not in a good place when she did.
Behind the glam
Despite being the envy of many at the peak of her career, Pamela hated her life behind the scenes and struggled with loneliness. The mother of two admitted to taking her condition out on her family and kids, until she decided to move out of Los Angeles. She noted that her normal life involved being a homemaker and taking care of her home but people hardly got to see that until now.

Pamela’s struggles did not stop her from achieving success though, as she became Playboy’s most featured cover model since her debut in February 1990. She also delved into acting with her most popular role as C.J. Park in the ‘90s drama series, Baywatch.
Pamela holds no regrets
Pamela is grateful for pastimes but has found satisfaction in her new life. She is happy to be the new face of advocacy for simplicity, as she intends to inspire a better idea of beauty. Staying true to her goal, Pamela started her vegan skincare line, Sonsie Skin, so her supporters can achieve the same glow she so proudly flaunts.
Her social media also proves her changed lifestyle, as she lets her followers in on her hobbies such as gardening, cooking, and photography. She is set to release her cookbook, I Love You: Recipes From The Heart, which is a compilation of plant-based family recipes.
