Michael Douglas and Catherine Zeta-Jones took to Instagram to celebrate their only son together, Dylan Douglas, as he turned 24 last Thursday. Michael shared a photo of Dylan in a cowboy hat with the caption, “Wow @dylan__douglas! 24! You’re moving fast my son! Wishing you a very happy birthday from a proud father!”
Zeta-Jones posted a touching throwback clip from when Dylan was an infant, featuring him in a white towel and playfully kicking the air as she showered him with loving looks and kisses. “The joy and love you give me every day is insurmountable. To be your Mama is a gift that I never take for granted. I love you my beautiful boy,” she wrote.

Michael and Zeta-Jones being actors, Zeta-Jones said making Dylan was “the best production we have ever been involved in.” The celebrity couple also share a 21-year-old daughter, Carys.

Fans joined the proud parents to celebrate their grown-up, and expressed their delight at Zeta-Jones’ activity online after a month-long break. “We missed your posts, we missed you!!!” someone gushed. “Oh my goodness! 24, where have those years gone?! Dylan commented under his mother’s post with a sweet note that thanked her for birthing him. The 24-year-old is a graduate of Brown University and has been expressive about his varying interests, including charity work, and adrenaline-inducing activities such as skydiving, which he did back in 2019.
Zeta-Jones and Michael speak so proudly of their son, who also appears to be following in their trail as an actor. Earlier this year, Dylan posted a photo with Russian-American actor Andrey Burkovsky, hinting at a collaboration set to be revealed soon. His parents’ fans cheered him on and reminded him of his movie star grandfather Kirk Douglas.
