Stephen Triffitt, a Frank Sinatra tribute act, recently made a show-stopping performance at the Cadogan Hall in Chelsea, London, last month following his shows in Las Vegas and other parts of the world. He performed songs from the Sinatra album Songs for Swingin’ Lovers! sounding just like the music luminary.
Stephen had the Manhattan Swing Orchestra behind him and conductor Tony Cruse as he sang to entertain the excited audience. He performed hits like “You Make Me Feel So Young,” “Too Marvelous for Words,” “Old Devil Moon,” and some more. Stephen’s fans danced to the classic tunes on the balcony, tapping their feet to the beat as he sang.
The No.1 Sinatra Tribute Act
Stephen started as a humble salesman and worked his way to number one playing the music legend Sinatra. From his voice to his gait, Stephen captures the aura of Sinatra. He has liked Sinatra’s music since he was a boy. “The first LP I ever bought when I was 13 was Frank Sinatra, and I’ve always liked his music. I suppose I sound like him because I started singing in that style, and it’s just stuck,” he said.

Stephen was discovered by producer Jeff Kutash, who had auditioned over 50 people to play Sinatra for a show he had been planning. Jeff flew to London to audition Stephen and remarked, “I think Frank would have looked at Stephen and applauded him and been amazed by the likeness.”
Stephen captured the hall’s attention
The young act did not only sing for the two-hour show but also ran a commentary, did his spin on the lyrics to “That’s Life,” and humorously told exciting facts about Sinatra. It is not surprising that Stephen delivered an excellent performance, having been enlisted to perform by the likes of Bob Geldof and Simon Cowell, and is regarded the best by Sinatra’s son.
Stephen has also starred as Sinatra for three seasons at Las Vegas’ legendary Sands Casino and played “Ol’ Blue Eyes” in the original West End production of The Rat Pack Live. “Stephen’s resemblance is unsettlingly perfect. From sculpted hair and twinkling blue eyes, all the way down to his shiny black patent leather shoes, Stephen Triffitt truly is Sinatra,” the London Evening Standard commented.
