Kenny Rogers‘ teenage sons Jordan and Justin crossed a major milestone recently. The twins recently graduated high school in a moment immortalized in a celebratory photo shared by the late Roger’s team, along with an empowering, bittersweet message.
Rogers, who died in 2020 at the age of 81, shared Justin and Jordan with his final wife, Wanda Miller, to whom he was married for 22 years until his death. Across five marriages, he also had five children in total. Check out Justin and Jordan Rogers’ big day!

The photo shows the twins, identical, in matching purple robes and caps, showing off their graduation regalia and helping each other out – or teasingly sabotaging, as Parade suspects. “Congratulations to the boys on graduating high school,” one fan replied to the post, adding assuringly, “Your dad was there in spirit and is so proud of you both.” Another cheered, “Congratulations and best wishes for the future!!”
Kenny Rogers leaves behind a powerful legacy that extends beyond music
Inducted into the Country Music Hall of Fame in 2013, Rogers is, in his music career, remembered for titanic record sales and giving the world songs that stayed at the top of U.S. charts for over 200 weeks. But he also had a nuanced family life that was full of starts and stops, and five children who call him their father. They are Carole Lynne, Kenny Jr., Christopher Cody, and twins Justin and Jordan.
An arrangement with his first wife, and Carole Lynne’s mother, Janice Gordon, meant Rogers did not play a very active role in the life of his first child and only daughter. However, in his autobiography, Luck or Something Like It, Rogers says he “was fully prepared to take the step into married life,” had it not been for disapproval from Janice’s parents regarding his career choice. When he married his second wife and they had a son, he called the first nine years “as good as it gets, and it was only the last few that got ugly.” The subsequent divorce would create a divide between Rogers and Kenny Jr.
Christopher Cody was born in ’81 and Country Thang Daily writes the baby had severe health problems, including hyaline membrane disease, a respiratory disease that can be fatal in infants. By now, though, Rogers was more present as a father, though parenthood clashed with the lifestyle Rogers maintained as an artist and that fourth wife Marianne maintained as a mother, so they ultimately split. Finally, along came Wanda, who Rogers said “knows me better than anyone else has known me.” Now, Rogers had plenty of time for introspection and to make up for where his actions as a father may have fallen short.
Here’s wishing the best for twins Justin and Jordan!
