Dominating the headlines has been the Gwyneth Paltrow ski crash lawsuit. Retired optometrist Terry Sanderson claims Paltrow crashed into him while wildly skiing along the slopes of a Utah resort. Isolated moments of Paltrow from the trial have gotten strong reactions from viewers, including Sharon Osbourne and Piers Morgan, who shared their thoughts on his program, Piers Morgan Uncensored.
On March 29, the Piers Morgan Uncensored YouTube page shared a video of him and Osbourne discussing the Paltrow trial. Together, they react to what they call “absurd” court proceedings. Indeed, on social media, many viewers are hoping the trial never ends. Here’s what these two TV personalities had to say.
Piers Morgan and Sharon Osbourne react to the Gwyneth Paltrow ski crash trial
Morgan was joined by Osbourne, as Morgan turned the conversation to “one woman who may be almost indefensible at this stage, which is Gwyneth Paltrow.” Morgan was dismayed that Sanderson and Paltrow were handling this case in court, while it was over $300,000, and chose to not settle outside of court instead. Osbourne echoed his sentiments with a blank-faced shrug of agreement.

The two also watched highlights, or “lowlights,” as Morgan called them, from the trial. Morgan showed clips of Paltrow on the stand, with her attorney asking her questions while also throwing in compliments about Paltrow’s ski outfit and even her height. After watching this sequence of events, Osbourne said, “I might throw up.”
The trial has national attention
For a time, the Johnny Depp-Amber Heard trial had a national following. Steadily, Paltrow’s trial has gained a lot of traction too, albeit in a different way. One clip of Paltrow in particular has gone viral, in which she is asked what she lost due to the crash, and the Goop founder says she lost a chunk of the day meant to be spent skiing at the resort.
The testimony of Sanderson also came under fire, not just that of Paltrow. Photos have emerged, showing Sanderson at other vacation destinations after the collision that he claims gave him a permanent brain injury and left him unable to enjoy facets of life anymore.
Osbourne declared, “They’re all bonkers in there.” See their discussion in the video below.
