Piers Morgan is among the celebrities mourning the loss of Olivia Newton-John. The Grease star passed away at her home at the age of 73 after a long battle with cancer. After the news of her death spread on social media, many wrote tributes to her.
None was more touching than the tribute written by her former co-star John Travolta. They remained close friends over the years. He wrote, “My dearest Olivia, you made all of our lives so much better. I love you so much. We will see you down the road and we will all be together again. Yours from the first moment I saw you and forever! your Danny, your John!”

Piers re-tweeted the tribute with a crying emoji. He also shared a photo of himself and Olivia and shared that they met several years ago. He said, “So sad to hear the fabulously gutsy, warm & talented Olivia Newton-John has died. While Olivia was best known as her character Sandy in Grease, she continued to act over the years despite her many battles with cancer. Her final role was in The Very Excellent Mr. Dundee in 2020. She played herself.
Olivia also continued to sing, releasing a duet with her daughter Chloe Lattanzi last year called “Window in the Wall.” To pay tribute to her mom, Chloe shared behind-the-scenes of the music video after Olivia’s death.
