Pay inequality is a common occurrence in Hollywood, and such is the case of Bryce Dallas Howard and Chris Pratt, co-leads in the Jurassic World movies. The actress claims she was paid much less than the speculated $8 million and can’t say for the $10 million people claimed Chris Pratt made from the movies. She revealed she earned more from the other ventures in the Jurassic Park franchise than from the movies and had to talk to Chris Pratt, who helped with her negotiations.
The Jurassic World movies came to end recently with Jurassic World: Dominion, and even Chris Pratt was sad to see the end. “Both of us [ Chris Pratt and Bryce Dallas Howard] sacrificed a lot over the past eight years, blessed beyond all belief to be a part of this thing, and it’s sad, you know, you put that much time, energy, effort into something, and you know it’s coming to a close. It’s like the end of a theme park ride.”
Bryce Revealed Reasons Why She Earned Lower Than Chris
The exact amount garnered from the movie by both stars is unknown, as Bryce discredited a 2015 report on how much they earned. “The reports were so interesting because I was paid so much less than the reports even said, so much less,” she said in an interview. A rumor going around now is that Chris Pratt earned more than her because he is a bigger Hollywood star than her.

Furthermore, Bryce explained the reason for the low deal, “When I started negotiating for ‘Jurassic,’ it was 2014, and it was a different world, and I was at a great disadvantage. And, unfortunately, you have to sign up for three movies, and so your deals are set.”
Chris Pratt Helped Bryce Dallas To Negotiate
However, Bryce found a way to earn more with the help of Chris. “What I will say is that Chris and I have discussed it, and whenever there was an opportunity to move the needle on stuff that hadn’t been already negotiated, like a game or a ride, he literally told me, ‘You guys don’t even have to do anything. I’m going to do all the negotiating. We’re going to be paid the same, and you don’t have to think about this, Bryce.”
For that act of kindness, Bryce holds Chris in high esteem. “I love him so much for doing that. I really do, because I’ve been paid more for those kinds of things than I ever was for the movie,” she said.
