Michael Douglas admits that he felt “uncomfortable” when he and wife Catherine Zeta-Jones were sharing a home with his ex-wife, Diandra Luker. He was married to Luker for 22 years before they divorced in the year 2000. As part of their split, they both agreed to arrange a six months on-and-off agreement for their 250-acre SโEstaca estate.
Just last year, Douglas actually bought out Luker’s share of the property. In a recent interview, Douglas says that he’s now “much more comfortable” after outright buying the whole property.

โIt was very uncomfortable sharing the property with my ex-wife Diandra,โ he says in the interview. โSix months for each of us wasnโt very pleasant for anyone. Everything is now sorted out. The house is 100 per cent ours โ Catherineโs and mine.”

Douglas continues, โCatherine is very happy here, especially now that we donโt share with Diandra. She feels much more comfortable.โ He shares a son, Cameron, with Luker. He also spoke about how he spends his time on the island, saying, โI devote at least two hours to reading the news. Then we do sport. Some days friends come over for lunch, we have a siesta and when we wake up itโs when people in Los Angeles have begun to work so I can work from here with LA.โ
