6. Funny Games
This thriller was/is undoubtedly terrifying. The movie is centered around characters Paul, Peter, and a bunch of other young men. They decide to terrorize a lakeside vacation home when Anna is inside, alone. The scene quickly turns violent and soon enough the whole family is taken hostage. The family soon has to comply with the abuse and humiliation that the young men put them through.
7. Out Of Sight
This film is another goldmine for movie buffs who love dramas and love interests. Jack Foley is the most successful bank robber in the country. However, when he manages to break out of jail, he meets the likes of Karen Sisco, a Federal Marshal, and both are infatuated with each other. It’s definitely a battle of the forbidden worlds.
Character Max Cohen suffers from psychological delusions, paranoia, and debilitating headaches. He’s a numbers fanatic and happens to encounter a mystery number that he just can’t crack the case on. He soon finds himself at the hands of ill-intentioned Wall Street agents who want to use the mystery number for monetary gain.
9. Shakespeare In Love
Shakespeare In Love may be one of the best romantic comedies of the 1990s. It centers around the legendary William Shakespeare and a woman who poses as a man to be able to star in one of the writer’s plays. She becomes a love interest to Shakespeare, but they have quite the forbidden love that might put them both in danger.
10. Buffalo ’66
Billy Brown is a convict that is dreading going home so much that he literally tries to get back into prison. He kidnaps a woman named Layla and asks her to impersonate his wife and come with him to meet his family. However, Layla is, like, really into it to Billy’s surprise.
