Ice cream is a staple in the summer. Many of us love the sweet, creamy, and cool texture of ice cream. There are so many different flavors these days from chocolate to vanilla to raw horse flesh? Sounds disgusting, but it actually is a flavor sold in Tokyo. What do you think it tastes like?

Here are some other really strange ice cream flavors that actually exist. Would you try any of these?

1. Pickled mango ice cream

Regular Mango Ice Cream… yes please (see vid below)… but PICKLED!??

Mango doesn’t seem so strange, but pickled? This ice cream sounds more savory than sweet with flavors like spicy mango sauce made from vinegar, white pepper, allspice, and clove. You can find it at Ohio-based Jeni’s Splendid Ice Creams.

2. Corn on the cob ice cream

An ice cream shop in New York called Max & Mina’s has been pushing the boundaries and created more than 5,000 original flavors of ice cream since 1998. Corn on the cob is a summer favorite for locals, but garlic, pizza, and horseradish ice cream have also popped up on the menu to try.

If you love spicy foods, try the ghost pepper ice cream from The Ice Cream Store in Delaware. Ghost peppers are the hottest peppers known to man and they actually make you sign a waiver if you order this super spicy treat.

This ice cream is actually named a signature secret breakfast. Who doesn’t like ice cream with a little bit of booze and cereal? It regularly sells out at San Francisco’s Humphry Slocombe.

5. Fig and fresh brown turkey gelato

If you want your ice cream to remind you of Thanksgiving dinner, try a turkey flavored gelato that is sweetened up with figs. Would you ever try a more savory flavored gelato? You can find it at New York City’s Il Laboratorio del Gelato, where they have cooked up more than 300 new flavors.

Feeling luxurious and love lobster? Why not try lobster ice cream! It is a butter based ice cream with actual lobster folded into the ice cream. It definitely sounds interesting. You can try it at Ben & Bill’s Chocolate Emporium in Bar Harbor, Maine.

Which one would you try? Which one do you think is the weirdest?

Here are ten more ‘horrible’ flavors… Gross.
