Cher rejected the role of Morticia in the movie adaptation of the gothic TV show. The part went to Angelica Huston. Cher was also considered for the part of the Grand High Witch in “The Witches,” which also went to Huston. Cher has turned down other roles including Thelma in “Thelma and Louise,” and Barbara Rose in “War of the Roses”.
