‘Practical Magic 2’ First Trailer Brings Back Kidman And Bullock

Sandra Bullock is stepping back into a world fans have loved for decades, and the first trailer for Practical Magic 2 proves the magic is far from over. The long-awaited sequel brings back the charm, mystery, and sisterhood that made the original film a cult favorite.

More than 25 years after the first movie premiered, audiences now get a glimpse of what comes next for the Owens sisters. The Sandra Bullock return to this beloved story marks a major moment, especially as she reunites with Nicole Kidman to continue a story that has stayed close to fans’ hearts.

The Owens Sisters Return With New Mysteries

The trailer shows Sally and Gillian Owens once again navigating life as sisters with supernatural abilities. This time, their quiet New England life takes an unexpected turn when a mysterious figure arrives with a new purpose that shakes up everything they know.

According to People, the film keeps many details under wraps, offering only the simple promise that “the magic returns.” Still, that hint alone has stirred excitement, especially for longtime viewers who have followed the sisters’ journey since the 1998 film first introduced their story.

A Nostalgic Comeback With Fresh Faces

The sequel does not just rely on nostalgia. It introduces a new generation into the story, including Joey King as Sally’s daughter, alongside Maisie Williams, Xolo Maridueña, and Solly McLeod. At the same time, familiar faces like Stockard Channing and Dianne Wiest return as the aunts who helped shape the Owens family legacy.

For Sandra Bullock, this film also marks her first major acting role since 2022, making the comeback even more meaningful. She and Kidman recently teased the project at CinemaCon, celebrating the moment with excitement and reminding fans that the witches are truly back. With its mix of old and new, Practical Magic 2 promises to deliver both nostalgia and fresh intrigue when it arrives in theaters on September 11.
