Tim Curry, famous for his classic performances in films such as The Rocky Horror Picture Show, Clue, Legend, and It, has been dealing with significant health issues. On July 13, 2012, the actor suffered a severe stroke at his residence in the city of Los Angeles, which affected the right side of his body, resulting in partial paralysis, thus confining him to the use of a wheelchair.
Although the 79-year-old has made a tremendous recovery over the years, the stroke has had a substantial impact on his abilities, which has caused him to withdraw from acting and even making public appearances. However, thirteen years after his stroke, Curry was recently spotted on the streets of Los Angeles.

According to pictures that surfaced online, the seasoned actor was seen exiting Gelson’s supermarket in Los Angeles on Thursday, May 15.
Curry wore a vibrant red sweater that showcased his unique taste in fashion. He complemented it with a sleek pair of black trousers to create a well-balanced appearance. To complete the cohesive and dynamic outfit, the 79-year-old wore a matching set of bright red trainers and black sunglasses that added touch of classic Hollywood allure to his look as he was pushed along in a wheelchair by his carer while holding a paper bag in his hands.
Tim Curry still remains passionate about his acting career despite his health status
Despite his health condition and not being in the public eye much recently, the actor remains dedicated to his profession. He made a notable return to acting in 2024 with a cameo appearance in the horror film Stream, his first feature film role in 14 years. He also lends his voice to several animated series and projects, such as Fork and Dagon: Troll World Chronicles.
Curry also has an autobiography titled Vagabond in the works, which is expected to hit the shelves in the latter part of the year.
