Dick Van Dyke is just a few months away from turning 100, yet he’s still showing up and making people smile. The actor has been popping up everywhere lately. From his Malibu event to making new career plans, he continues to keep a schedule that surprises even younger stars. He says he’s not done yet.
He’s aiming to complete his EGOT, since an Oscar is the only award missing from his shelf. There’s more on his list, too; he wants to act in a horror movie and a Shakespeare role. For someone who’s already starred in Chitty Chitty Bang Bang, Bye Bye Birdie, and Mary Poppins, it’s clear that slowing down isn’t part of the plan.

During his Vandy Camp event at Aviator Nation Dreamland in Malibu, Van Dyke performed “Supercalifragilisticexpialidocious” live on stage. The crowd saw him seated in a chair, mic in hand, singing as clearly and joyfully as he did decades ago. He also sang “Let’s Go Fly a Kite,” another song from the Disney classic.
A clip posted by a fan named Katie on TikTok captured the moment. In it, the 99-year-old actor moved with ease and performed with a big smile. He looked right at home in front of an audience, and people couldn’t get over how strong his stage presence still was.
