Melissa Gilbert became a famous name in the 1970s thanks to her role as Laura Ingalls Wilder in Little House on the Prairie. Fans fondly remember her as the spirited young girl from the show, though she also starred in television films like The Miracle Worker and The Diary of Anne Frank at the time.
Her recent appearance at a press event in New York revealed just how much time has transformed the actress as she looked unrecognizable. The 60-year-old former child star showed up in a maxi floral skirt underneath a matching wrap top and a velvet blazer.
Where is Melissa Gilbert now?
Melissa Gilbert is not in the public eye as much; however, she often shares glimpses into her life on social media. In 2023, she informed her followers about a health scare involving an insect bite. Although she was hospitalized, she recovered just fine.
Just a year before the incident, she launched her women-focused lifestyle app named Modern Prairie.
