Joy Behar Misses Another Episode Of ‘The View’ For The Third Time

Fans of The View cannot wait to see their beloved Joy Behar back on the show. She takes over as moderator during Friday episodes in Whoopi Goldberg’s absence. But viewers noticed something different this week: Behar has missed three consecutive shows, including Friday’s episode, leaving fans wondering about her health and when she might return.

The usual Friday energy felt slightly off when the co-hosts took their seats that morning. Whoopi Goldberg does not often appear on Fridays, but she made a rare end-of-week appearance alongside Alyssa Farah Griffin, Sara Haines, Ana Navarro, and Sunny Hostin. All the while, Behar’s fans missed her outspoken take on politics and pop culture.

Joy Behar’s absence from ‘The View’

Joy Behar last appeared on The View on Wednesday, April 9, during a lively discussion about current events. That day, she humorously questioned funding an upcoming high-profile event, quipping, “Who do you think is paying for this?!” Her sarcasm and candid commentary were on full display

However, Behar was noticeably absent by Thursday and has yet to return to the Hot Topics table. Whoopi Goldberg jokingly addressed her unexpected Friday appearance and revealed that Behar was not around because she was under the weather. Then Goldberg reassured fans that Behar is expected to appear on The Weekend View, which is streaming on ABC News Live on Saturdays and Sundays.

Reaction from fans

The show’s loyal fans are not silent about Joy Behar’s absence. They have taken to social media with questions and well-wishes. The concern is understandable, given her vital role in maintaining the show’s dynamic.

Joy Behar’s sharp humor and years of experience bring a unique energy that is hard to replace. In the meantime, fans hope for a speedy recovery and a return to normalcy at the Hot Topics table, as many are already looking forward to seeing Behar back on Monday this new week.
