The Celebrity Wheel of Fortune episode featuring Melissa Joan Hart was produced in October 2021 and directed by the hosts Vanna White and Pat Sajak. Hart competed against two other celebrities, Lacey Chabert and Tituss Burgess, and used her word puzzle-solving skills to win the million-dollar prize.
Her victory was an incredible moment for the game show, marking the first time a celebrity contestant had ever won the $1 million prize on the Celebrity Wheel of Fortune. But beyond the excitement of making Wheel of Fortune history, Hart’s win was even more incredible because the prize money was donated to charity.
Looking back
It has been three years since Melissa Joan Hart won a million dollars on Celebrity Wheel of Fortune, and she remains grateful for the experience. In a recent interview, she expressed how surreal it still feels to win on a game show she watched with her mother when she was young.
Moreover, winning was even more thrilling for her because the money was all donated to charity. It was her contribution to Youth Village, an organization that continues to make a difference in children’s lives, and she remains proud to have been able to be part of it. Hart also recalled how nervous yet excited she was throughout the game, knowing that every spin and letter choice could make or break her chance of winning the prize. Now, she is even more thankful for winning than at the time.
