While still turning letters on TV, Vanna White recently turned a new page in her life. The 68-year-old decided to get her first tattoo, and the ink artist being her daughter Gigi Santo Pietro made the experience even more memorable.
Vanna shared a video showing her as she stepped into the Lincoln Tattoo Company, Gigi’s shop in Venice, California. She looked both excited and nervous, but there was no doubt she was doing this for more than just the ink. It was a mother-daughter bonding moment, proof of how much she supports Gigi’s career, and a memory they’d both cherish forever.

In previous interviews, she had mentioned that she wanted matching heart tattoos with Gigi, symbolizing the unique bond between them. Vanna did not simply choose any tattoo; she chose a small heart on her wrist, one that she could look at every single day and think of her daughter. She did a pale pink outline, which she described as one with a bit of salmon.
She was not certain if she would be able to stand watching, and even joked she might pass out. However, when Gigi started, the experience was not nearly as awful as she had imagined. When it was done, she was unable to contain her excitement, insisting that it turned out exactly as she had imagined. She also said that every time she looked at it, she would remember her daughter.

Another supporter was an admirer, “What an honor to get artwork done by your own daughter! Congrats!” they said, while others chimed in about the experience of getting the tattoo. “I have compared the pain to a cat scratch or bee sting; it’s not some unbearable, excruciating torture!” a fan explained.
