Uma Thurman is joining the Dexter franchise

The Dexter series first aired in 2006 and followed Dexter Morgan, a forensic expert who led a secret life as a serial killer. The show ran for eight seasons, ending in 2013, but returned in 2021 with Dexter: New Blood, which explored Dexter’s later years. In 2024, Dexter: Original Sin was released, telling the story of Dexter’s youth.

Now, Dexter: Resurrection continues the story, bringing back Michael C. Hall as Dexter. Uma Thurman plays Charley, the Head of Security for billionaire Leon Prater. Charley is a former Special Ops officer who has worked in high-level private security. She is described as resourceful, meticulous, and Prater’s right-hand woman, which suggests that she will play a major role in the series. Thurman’s return to television is highly anticipated by fans.
