A new viral video has reignited the age-old debate about time travel, with some claiming that the footage from an Elvis Presley concert contains proof that someone from the future attended the event. The clip in question comes from one of Elvis’s many legendary performances.
He took the stage an astonishing 1,684 times in his career, with 767 of those shows lighting up Nevada venues like Las Vegas and Stateline. Now, a single moment from one of those concerts has people questioning what they are really seeing.

A TikTok user named Slapped Ham posted the 44-second clip from an old Elvis Presley concert, but it is not the King of Rock and Roll Roll himself that has people talking. The focus is on a woman in the audience who appears to be holding something that looks suspiciously like a modern smartphone. The object is small, dark, and rectangular, with a white square in the top-left corner, eerily similar to a phone camera.
As if that were not bizarre enough, some viewers have spotted another detail in the footage, as right after the phone in question is visible, a shadowy figure with hollow eyes briefly appears in the frame. Some concluded that something supernatural might have been at play, too.
Fans react to Elvis Presley’s concert video
The internet wasted no time sharing their perspective about the mysterious footage. “Nobody noticed the creepy, empty-eyed figure that flashes right after the camera moment?” someone asked. Some said the so-called phone is actually something much more ordinary, like some stationery. “It’s just a notebook and pen. She’s probably trying to get Elvis’s autograph,” a second fan speculated.
Another said the “smartphone” is just a Kodak Instamatic camera and urged people to relax their assumptions. Others suggested even more practical explanations, saying it is likely a backstage pass or a whiskey flask with no lid.
