An immersive experience of Elvis Presley is set to take place at the London Excel Waterfront in Docklands, and it promises attractions such as an AI-powered holographic performance from the late Rock ‘n’ Roll king and a 1960s American-themed dining just before.
This Elvis show is happening as a collaboration between Layered Reality, Elvis Presley Enterprises, and the company in charge of the Elvis Presley estate, Authentic Brands Group. The founder and CEO of Layered Reality, Andrew McGuinness, confirmed that it is a next-generation tribute to the legend, who passed away in 1977.
What to expect from ‘Elvis Evolution’
This show, tagged Elvis Evolution, is one of three to take place at the Immerse LDN site, with the other two— Formula 1 Exhibition and The Friends Experience: The One in London, in the works. Reports say it is inspired by Elvis’ special NBC performance in 1968, which is considered the greatest rock performance of all time.
It features a multisensory experience lasting the entire 110 minutes, which will highlight his life and career journey from humble beginnings in Tupelo, Mississippi, to his peak in the ‘50s and his final decade featuring a seven-year Las Vegas residency.
How to get in for Elvis Evolution
Tickets will go on sale soon, starting at £75. However, attendees can upgrade to the £180 and £300 VIP packages, all with access to the “All Shook Up” after-party. Andrew is assured that people will flood the ticketing sites, as Elvis remains a global superstar even after his death.
He noted that his company is taking things further for fans who no longer want passive entertainment. By employing state-of-the-art technology and Artificial Intelligence, the legacy of creatives can be preserved long after they are gone.
