Kelly Clarkson’s Son Surprises ‘The Kelly Clarkson Show’ Audience With Cover Of ’60s Classic

Kelly Clarkson’s 8-year-old son, Remy, sang a ‘60s classic on Thursday’s episode of The Kelly Clarkson Show. The young boy serenaded the audience with his mother’s band backing him up, while his older sister River applauded him.

Remy looked adorable in his animated beige jumper and a pair of jeans as he confidently held the mic in one hand and genuflected with the other. The moment made it to the show’s official Instagram page, and fans did not hesitate to commend Remy’s talent in the comments section.

What song did Kelly Clarkson’s son perform?

Remy sang Frank Sinatra’s 1969 release, “My Way,” which is one of the late icon’s most timeless singles. It has been covered by the likes of Elvis Presley and Sid Vicious and is often sung at significant events such as birthdays and funerals.

Kelly recalled how Remy walked into the studio, asking who he needed to meet to do his song. Though it seems he is taking after his mother’s career, Kelly clarified that she is open to whatever he chooses, and is not directly influencing his choice. River has also shown off her budding voice on her mother’s Chemistry album last year.

Fans gush as they listen to Kelly Clarkson’s son sing

Remy went viral with hundreds of thousands of likes on his clip, and many comments complimenting him. “He sounds amazing just like his Momma I Love how River lip-synced with him & the big smile on her face !! Kelly Clarkson your kids are going to take after you !!” someone exclaimed.

Another said he looked like a mini-Kelly and commenced his poise and diction while mouthing the lyrics. “The way he knowingly glances at the camera and then slowly grins is SO Kelly,” another added. Kelly shares Remy and his sister with her ex-husband, Brandon Blackstock. Brandon has remained active in his children’s lives since their divorce in 2022.
