Rob Lowe reflected on his St. Elmo’s Fire days, and the steamy crush that came with it during a recent episode of SiriusXM’s Let’s Talk Off Camera with Kelly Ripa podcast. He said hookups were inevitable among the cast mates, as they were mostly young and curious at the time.
Rob developed a crush on his co-star Demi Moore, admitting they both had a thing before she got engaged to Emilio Estévez. After planning the wedding, Demi accused Emilio of cheating with an ex, leading to their breakup in 1986.

Rob’s crush on Demi was soon long gone by the time she met Bruce Willis, with whom she shares her three daughters, Rumer, Scout, and Tallulah. Rob said Demi and Bruce’s wedding was the biggest he had ever seen, featuring two sound stages and a lot of fun.
Rob teased a sequel to St. Elmo’s Fire with the original cast, including his old fling Demi, Ally Sheedy, Andrew McCarthy, Judd Nelson, and Mare Winningham on board. He asked fans to be patient as they are still seeking the right writer and script before kicking things off.

He may have a thing for workplace romance as he met his wife Sheryl Berkoff on the set of a film where she worked as a makeup artist. He did not particularly have a crush on her; however, he came to the realization when they toured together.

They got married in 1991 and welcomed sons Matthew and John Owen— both grown up and out of the house now. Rob and Sheryl are still very much in love and navigating life as empty nesters. The 60-year-old joked that they can now grab a midnight snack with no clothes on again.
