Priscilla Presley Forced To Relive ‘Horros’ Through Daughter Lisa Marie’s Memoir 

The 79-year-old Presley matriarch would never have thought a day would come when she’d be forced to open her old wounds. Unfortunately, the day of reckoning came in her lifetime as she had to come to terms with the shocking revelations in Lisa Marie’s memoir. 

Despite being “raw and devastated” over her daughter’s death, Priscilla still has to show support for Lisa Marie’s last wish, which Riley Keough fulfilled. “People in their inner circle are grateful Riley’s taken over the burden,” a source revealed. “As it’s not something Priscilla can cope with.”

Considering the exposé Lisa Marie wrote about Priscilla’s boyfriend, Michael Edwards, molesting her, one might think the Elvis Presley’s ex-wife would want nothing to do with the memoir. 

Initially, it seemed like so as she was silent throughout her granddaughter’s prerelease media tours. Later on, Priscilla, joined Riley at a From Here to the Great Unknown book event at Graceland, where she surprised Riley on stage.

Despite the show of support, the source stated that Priscilla is “perhaps taking it worse than anyone.” Though the actress has not particularly revealed her thoughts on the content of the memoir to the public, she can’t cry over spilled milk and all she can do is “pray that” Lisa is “at peace in heaven alongside Elvis.” 

The insider also praised Riley for stepping in to be the “virtual matriarch” during this trying time for the family because “it’s been so overwhelming for Priscilla.” The 35-year-old has been doing an outstanding job so far; from not missing the twins’ birthday to her hour-long interview with Oprah Winfrey, she’s trying her best to keep the Presley legacy alive.
