It has been four years since Kelly Preston passed away from a two-year-long battle with breast cancer, and her widower, John Travolta, still takes every chance to praise her as always. The Grease star took to Instagram on Mother’s Day with a touching tribute to Kelly, who birthed three of his kids.
“Happy Mother’s Day Kelly. We love you, we miss you,” John wrote alongside throwback photos of Kelly and the kids. Fans joined John to pay their respects to Kelly while admiring their memorable relationship even after her death. “Your soulmate, for sure. Happy heavenly Mother’s Day, beautiful Kelly!” someone wrote.

John’s daughter, Ella Bleu, also posted in celebration of her late mother with a similar caption and a black-and-white photo of Kelly bathing her as a baby. This comes after she paid tribute to her late older brother Jett, with a photo of him and herself as infants as well. “Happy Birthday, Jetty. I love you always,” the twenty-four-year-old wrote.

Fans encouraged Ella and thanked her for remembering Kelly and “sharing such a sweet picture with us.”
“This is bringing tears to my eyes. Kelly was a beautiful person inside and out, the way she loved her kids and John is something you only witness in a blue moon,” someone wrote, with another adding that the Jerry Maguire star “will always be in all the hearts of everyone that loved and knew her.”
Ready to move on?
John expressed his desire to move on and remarry earlier this year after revealing that he took a “vow of celibacy” following Kelly’s passing. An insider reported that John’s family nudged him to find a new lover because Kelly would have wanted him to. John eventually gave in because “life is too short for remorse and constant anguish.”

Although he has yet to find a new beau, John has a few requirements and expectations for a “kind, warm, gracious, funny, and spontaneous” new woman. There have been rumors about brewing chemistry between him and Sex And The City actress Kristin Davis, who became “flirty friends” with him on the set of Cash Out. A source disclosed that John is taking his time, hence his reluctance to kick things off with Davis—or anyone at all.
