Jason Ritter Does Scarily Accurate Impression Of His Late Dad, John Ritter

One of the comments on Jason Ritter’s TikTok page led to him making an interesting impression of his dad, John Ritter, as specifically described by the fan. The user asked Jason to do his father’s creepy face, which he would make while chasing girls around on Three’s Company.

The 44-year-old took the request seriously, making different faces to the camera until he was close enough. Fans were grateful for Jason’s indulgence and in no time, the post went viral with nearly half a million likes.

A TikTok user said they watched the video wondering why the creator looks a lot like John, only to realize Jason was his son. “Omg! ‘Three’s Company’ was my favorite!! Awe.. you look just like your dad. He was awesome!! Loved John Ritter!! You have his sense of humor!” someone gushed.

A Mexican immigrant recalled enjoying John’s Three’s Company despite only speaking Spanish at home. “He brought joy to us as a family, even though we didn’t fully understand the language,” she added. “He keeps me laughing on Pluto TV. May he be resting in paradise.”

Father and son

John reportedly died of Aortic dissection in September at the age of 54, after a successful Hollywood run. Jason, John’s eldest son, is keeping his father’s legacy alive through his own acting career. The 44-year-old has earned a few recognitions including Emmy Award nominations for Parenthood and Tales of Titans.

John and Jason spent quality father-son time together, which Jason has come to cherish years later. It was never a boring home with a father like John, as he made sure dinner time did not pass without a good laugh. Jason himself is a father to one, whom he shares with his actress wife Melanie Lynskey.
