Priscilla Barnes recently joined Three’s Company star Joyce DeWitt at Sunset Room in Hollywood, Los Angeles, for The John Ritter Foundation for Aortic Health gala. Joyce posed on the purple carpet at the event named An Evening from the Heart in honor of late co-star John Ritter.

The 75-year-old wore a black pantsuit with polka dot detailing, which she accessorized with silver and pearl-like jewelry. Joyce wore her short silver hair as usual, complementing the simple but classy look with blue nail polish and pink lipgloss.

Joyce and John worked together between 1977 and 1984, after which they were joined by the late Suzanne Somers, who played Chrissy Snow in the beloved sitcom. The charity event on Thursday celebrated the life of John, who died at 54 from an undetected aortic dissection.

John reportedly collapsed while working on his ABC comedy show, 8 Simple Rules…For Dating My Teenage Daughter, after which he was rushed to Providence St. Joseph Hospital in Burbank, California, where he died. Also joining Joyce and Barnes, who wore a white shirt and black pants, was Kaley Cuoco, who starred in John’s final project.

Joyce, who co-produced and hosted the 2003 TV film Behind the Camera: The Unauthorized Story of Three’s Company, recalls John as “a great friend, an extraordinarily talented actor, and amazingly good at comedy.”

“I miss the presence, I miss his smile, I miss the gift that he was,” she told Closer Weekly in a statement.

More recently, she was in the Davisson Brothers Band’s music video for “Home,” which pays tribute to Joyce’s West Virginia hometown.
