Photos surfaced on Wednesday showing Hasselhoff being assisted by airport staff as he was wheeled through the terminal in Cancun, Mexico. Despite looking seemingly weak, the 72-year-old actor was in good spirits, smiling and waving to fans at the Cancun Airport in Mexico. Upon landing at LAX, the Baywatch Alum was once again seen being pushed in a wheelchair as he reunited with his wife, Hayley Roberts. Observers noted the actor limping as he leaned on the 45-year-old model as they found their way out of the terminal.
Following the growing concerns about his health, Hasselhoff’s representatives quickly addressed the speculation in statement to US Weekly. They revealed that his use of a wheelchair was not associated with any serious health issue, he was simply preparing for a knee replacement surgery, which was scheduled to take place in the following week.
