For seven seasons, viewers attended class for Boy Meets World, ABC’s definitive coming-of-age sitcom starring William Daniels as the insightful neighbor and teacher George Feeny. It’s been over two decades since the series finale, but it still inspires copious amounts of nostalgia, even for the cast. It’s for that reason that Daniels had a reunion with the actors he worked so closely with for so many years.
Running from September 1993 to May 2000, Boy Meets World starred Cory Matthews, played by Ben Savage, as he navigated the triumphs and tribulations of navigating childhood to adulthood. His journey is enriched by his relationships with other characters, played by Will Friedle, Lily Nicksay, Rider Strong, Danielle Fishel, and more. Check out the familiar faces gathered together once again for a special reunion, once again under Daniels’ tutelage.

Daniels ushered in June with a very bright post shared on social media. On Saturday, Daniels, who just turned a remarkable 97 at the end of March, captioned his post, which features two photos, with “Just a little reunion with my favorite students!!“

The first photo shows a gray-haired and bespectacled Daniels seated alongside Friedle while Fishel stood behind him. Strong crouched to join the group photo. Also seated at the table was Daniels’s wife, Bonnie Bartlett, who also appeared in the series.
In a follow-up, Fishel situated herself closer to Daniels, which was the best way to wrap her former TV teacher in a one-armed hug. Everyone from the Boy Meets World cast was all smiles during the sentimental reunion.
Class was never really dismissed for the cast that keeps on caring
Years prior, Daniels was honored by his Boy Meets World co-stars, who had nothing but positive memories to share of the actor, much in the same way inspired students have fond opinions of the teachers who shaped their lives.
“When we were kids, goofing off and having a good time, he was very much a Feeny-like presence,” recalled Strong just before Chicago Comic & Entertainment Expo 2023 during a birthday dinner once again for Daniels. “Even when the cameras weren’t there. In terms of knowing his lines, being a complete professional, being on time. Those were things that we needed to see, and had to learn to emulate in order to be professionals in the industry.”
In fact, according to Friedle, Daniels “still shoots out the pearls of wisdom,” adding, “His wife, Bonnie, as well. Talking to them is still magical. If you’re willing to listen, Bill is dropping gems left and right.”
