The recreated fan favorite was endorsed by Dolly, who praised the cover on social media, saying, “Wow, I just heard ‘Jolene.’ Beyoncé is giving that girl some trouble, and she deserves it!”

Contrary to Dolly’s thoughts, some fans are giving Beyonce a hard time with negative criticism for the song, which its listening contributed to the whooping 76.13 million streams Cowboy Carter received upon its debut. “Sorry, Dolly, although I know you HAD to say that, I strongly disagree.
