Cyndi Lauper‘s troubled son, Declyn Lauper, who has had a brush with the law so many times for crimes like alleged car theft and illegal firearm possession, has once again made the headlines. This occurred after a registered nurse, Ruzdija Basuljevic, filed a lawsuit against him.
According to a court document obtained by RadarOnline.com, Declyn is currently embroiled in a complex legal battle involving $2 million in damages. Basuljevic detailed in the report that a disturbing incident unfolded during a home treatment session that resulted in a direct threat to his life.

During the treatment visit to Declyn’s apartment, the nurse “observed the presence of marijuana and drug paraphernalia” but wasn’t bothered as he conducted himself professionally. The 26-year-old instructed the nurse “not to administer the IV” in his left arm, and he respected his decision.

However, the atmosphere became tense when he tried inserting a catheter into his right arm, and Declyn’s demeanor turned confrontational as he explicitly threatened violence. The nurse remained calm as he thought maybe he was under the influence of drugs.
Basuljevic, however, got the shock of his life when Declyn threatened to shoot him in the head if he didn’t stop the procedure immediately. “[R]emove the IV, I don’t want it in, it doesn’t feel good, you don’t know what the f— you are doing, fishing around and s— for my veins, what is this your first time doing this s—,” Declyn threatened. “[I]f you do not leave right now I am going to f—— shoot you, I am going to grab my 9 and shoot you, you better leave now.”
The nurse added that he was greatly traumatized by the incident even months after it happened, and it has dramatically impacted his work as he now experiences fear and anxiety. Hence, the medical practitioner feels he deserves some compensation for the emotional trauma, and he has initiated a $2 million lawsuit.
