58-year-old Paulina Porizkova took to social media to celebrate the 60th anniversary of Sports Illustrated swimsuit issues. The model, who joined the brand in 1983, posted an adorable clip of herself in a swimsuit and lounging by the pool. She announced that the “shoot for the actual issue…is already in the bag and coming out soon.”
Sadly, Paulina will not be in the photos; however, she is happy to celebrate and relax while others work. “There are so many fabulous women here that the shooting has to be split into two days—and so while some are in the midst of creating glamorous photos, I get to sit by the pool,” she noted.

She showed off her full gray hair and natural dewy makeup as her boyfriend, Jeff Greenstein, interviewed her. “Yes, I’m here to help celebrate the SI Swimsuit 60th anniversary Legend’s shoot!” she wrote. “Meanwhile, I’m so excited because my doctor gave me the thumbs up to get in the pool, so Jeff and I are enjoying the sun, the music, and the water. And having some deep conversations.”

Fans took to the comments with compliments, particularly admiring Paulina’s confidence as she ages. “Paulina, thank you for owning your age; you are gorgeous inside and out!!” someone exclaimed. Another added, “So glad that you are being recognized in all sorts of arenas for your wonderfulness and contributions. And representing!”

Paulina has worked hard for her jaw-dropping body, which she loves to show off now and then in flattering outfits. Last year, she revealed her bikini-body tips, which include weight-lifting and physical therapy for her arthritis. She also shared her 16/8 intermittent fasting eating plan, which she has been on for several years. “I will be turning 58 soon and couldn’t appreciate my body more,” she wrote at the time.

Despite the admiration she receives, Paulina has faced backlash from internet trolls as well. Thankfully, she remains unmoved and continues to promote positive aging through her posts. “Many of the unkind comments seem to focus on me needing validation — which is true in part, I do need to be noticed in order not to be invisible,” she responded. “You also call me out for promoting the objectification of women. This is also partly true, I am working within set constraints thousands of years old.”
