- Robert Garrison Brown, the son of ‘Sister Wives’ icon Janelle Brown, died at the age of 25.

On Tuesday, Janelle Brown took to social media to announce the passing of her son, Garrison. He was 25 years old when he passed. According to TMZ, police are looking at this as an apparent suicide and say that no foul play is suspected.
“Kody and I are deeply saddened to announce the loss of our beautiful boy Robert Garrison Brown,” the Sister Wives icon shared in a social media post. “He was a bright spot in the lives of all who knew him. His loss will leave such a big hole in our lives that it takes our breath away. We ask that you please respect our privacy and join us in honoring his memory.”

Additional confirmation of Garrison’s passing came from more social media posts made by family members. His half-sister, Mykelti Padron, shared Janelle’s post and added, “I love you bro.” Meri Brown shared a similar message, adding, “Garrison, you are loved and will be missed!”

Following the news of his passing, TLC issued a statement saying, “We are devastated to hear of the tragic loss of Garrison Brown. We extend our deepest sympathies and heartfelt condolences to the Brown family at this difficult time.”
It was Garrison’s brother, 22-year-old Gabriel, who “discovered Mr. Brown deceased” at his Flagstaff, Arizona home, according to the Flagstaff Police Department, further sharing with PEOPLE, “On 03/05/2024 Flagstaff Police officers responded to a report of a death inside a home.”
Investigators give an update on the death of Garrison
By time of writing, Garrison’s death is so far being treated as a suicide. “At this time there is not any indication of foul play, and Detectives from the Criminal Investigations Division are investigating,” said Lieutenant Charles M. Hernandez II.
Garrison had been part of TLC’s Sister Wives since its 2010 premiere. After the onslaught of the COVID-19 pandemic, both he and his brother had a strained relationship with their father, Kody. In addition to Gabriel, Garrison had siblings Logan, 29, Maddie, 28, Hunter, 27, and Savannah, 19.
