Simon Cowell’s face has become a topic among fans and concerned members of the public who have expressed their disappointment in recent times. The American Idol alum now seems to have a puffy, swollen face, which many have noted he can only move “from top lip down.”
His latest appearance on a British game show was the height for many social media users, who called him out on X, formerly Twitter. “Seriously how much work has Simon Cowell had done? He can’t move his face!!!!” someone exclaimed, while another said Simon needed to “sue his plastic surgeon.”
Experts allege Simon Cowell got facelifts and filler
Cosmetic surgery experts like Dr. Ramtin Kassir have weighed in on Simon’s appearance, highlighting filler and lifts as the reason for his tight face. “He just looks like he has way too much volume in his face, which is usually way too much filler in his face,” Dr. Ramtin said, explaining that “the filler accumulates and starts getting into your lymphatics and blocks the lymphatic drainage in your face.”

The triple board-certified surgeon added that “the filler accumulates and starts getting into your lymphatics and blocks the lymphatic drainage in your face. He’s definitely had either a revision lift, facelift, or some kind of a regular skin lift because the skin looks like it’s tightly pulled over the underlying contents, which, by the way, is not a healthy or normal-looking lift.”
Simon has come forward to address the rumors, and although he admitted to doing Botox, he denied getting a facelift. “I haven’t had a facelift or anything. I’ve had a bit of Botox or whatever, but nothing drastic,” he told The Mirror last year. “So when I hear about this stuff, honestly, it does make me laugh.”
However, he admitted to “going too far” with these procedures and getting rid of them at 2022’s Nickelodeon Kids’ Choice Awards event. “I saw a picture of me from ‘before’ the other day, and didn’t recognize it as me first of all,” he confessed. “Enough was enough. There is no filler in my face at all now. Zero.” He noted that a healthy diet and lots of water have been his maintenance secrets so far as he ages. “
