What’s particularly special about this program is that it’s the very first docuseries that has the full band’s cooperation, from past members to the current lineup, including frontman Jon Bon Jovi. “As thrilling as the story of a once-in-a-lifetime talent is, it is even more rare that a legend like Jon Bon Jovi lets the world into his most vulnerable moments while he’s still living them,” reads the description for Thank You, Goodnight: The Bon Jovi Story, via Hulu.

Bon Jovi came to be in 1983 with the cooperation of Jon Bon Jovi, guitarist Richie Sambora, bassist Alec John Such, drummer Tico Torres, and keyboardist David Bryan. Their first big hit, “Runaway,” came from their ’84 album, Bon Jovi, and they would be inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in 2018.
