This upcoming Christmas, Lifetime will release a line-up of soap operas and primetime favorites in a single movie. The film will feature soap opera divas Donna Mills, Linda Gray, Loni Anderson, Nicollette Sheridan, and Morgan Fairchild as they unite to shoot the final episode of the anticipated movie.
The movie’s executive producer, Larry A. Thompson, admitted that he sees “the opportunity to bring together Donna, Morgan, Loni, Linda and Nicollette, five powerhouse women, into one-holiday movie” like “finding the perfect gift under the Christmas tree.” The network will announce the official airdate of the movie via A Wonderful Lifetime Holiday movie schedule.
Viewers will see the divas come together
The movie description read, “Twas the week before Christmas, and all through the house, not a creature was stirring, except for five talented daytime divas who are ready for their close-up. It’s the last week of the popular daytime soap, ‘The Great Lakes,’ and all the beloved divas are being brought back for one last hurrah.”

The story features old college friends— producer Alex, played by Travis Burns, and Taylor Ann Thompson’s director Nell, who try to keep things under control as they work with the ladies who still have an old rivalry between them. The show almost gets canceled due to the ladies’ behavior until they unite again. The divas reluctantly decide to put aside their issues and secrets to “act” as if they are on good terms. They eventually bond over Alex and Nell’s potential romance as they conspire to make them a couple.
Donna Mills will co-star with her 29-year-old daughter
Aside from the five leading actresses, Ladies of the ’80s: A Divas Christmas will feature Days of our Lives star Patrika Darbo, Alec Mapa, ’80s heartthrob Christopher Atkins, and Donna Mills’ daughter, Chloe. Donna took an 18-year break from acting in the early 2000s to focus on raising Chloe, whom she adopted in 1994.
“Well, the first couple of years, I did work…but then when she started school, I wasn’t going to go out of town for two months at a time. And I didn’t become a mother to give her to a nanny,” she said. Chloe is also known for her role as Cyn 2021’s Aftermath.
