Riley Keough, Elvis Presley’s Granddaughter, Opens Doors To Graceland In New Christmas Special

Elvis Presley’s Graceland estate draws in more than 650,000 visitors yearly who are eager to catch a glimpse of the place that was once home to Elvis and immerse themselves in the rich history and legacy of this beloved artist.

Following the recent announcement of Riley Keough as the exclusive trustee and heir of the Graceland estate, the exclusive interior of the sprawling Graceland estate, which has traditionally been accessible only to guided tour guests, is soon to be revealed to a broader audience. A special Christmas broadcast, Christmas at Graceland by NBC, will grant access to all and sundry, allowing viewers to step inside the hallowed walls of Elvis Presley’s mansion.

Riley Keough, the granddaughter of Presley who will serve as the show’s executive producer, revealed in a press statement that the special will allow fans to witness the late Singer’s favorite holiday. “My family and I are elated to open the doors to Graceland in this first-of-its-kind special,” she stated. “With intimate musical performances drawing inspiration from my grandfather Elvis’s cherished Christmases in Memphis, viewers will be invited to experience firsthand the magic of Christmas at Graceland.”

Also, Jen Neal, the Executive Vice President of Live Events and Specials at NBCUniversal Media Group, expressed gratitude to Riley for giving the network access to the estate. “To celebrate the holidays at Graceland and be a part of the King’s legacy is both an honor and an absolute dream come true,” she noted. “We thank Riley and her family for allowing all of us to visit her grandfather’s iconic home and share an intimate musical experience that Elvis would’ve truly loved.”

Christmas at Graceland is set to air on Wednesday, November 29, following NBC’s cherished holiday tradition, Christmas in Rockefeller Center.

The special broadcast promises to be a delightful treat for fans and viewers alike as it is expected to be filled with nostalgic references to Presley’s iconic NBC holiday-season show, Singer Presents… Elvis, which first graced the screens on December 3, 1968, and later became known as the 68 Comeback Special.
