Jane Seymour recently showed up at the Harvard Bookstore in Boston, looking absolutely stunning. The 72-year-old wore a knee-length halter-neck dress that flattered her figure, with nude high heels and a semi-sheer patterned shawl.

During the Christy Cashman book launch, Jane posed for photos as she flashed her gorgeous teeth and swirled in her powder blue dress. The actress still looks sensational in her 70s, causing fans to wonder how she maintains her figure and looks after so many years.

Jane shares the secrets of her looks

The mother of four revealed one of her top tips, a lighting technique she calls “Jane’s igloo.” As an artist, Jane understands “what makes good and bad light” for her. “Mercifully, I can take a lot of light. I’ve done so many films where I understand the light for me,” she told Definition magazine.

“Basically, the minute you take the top light off me, I don’t have bags under my eyes. If you have top light, my eyes become very baggy. So, I need something straight at me,” she revealed. “I’ve done so many films where I understand the light for me… I never have to ask, though. They figure it out, usually on the first day.”

She has a successful acting career

Jane’s acting career took a good turn in the ’70s when she featured as Bond girl Solitaire in Live And Let Die, alongside Roger Moore, who played the MI5 agent. She then starred in more hits, including Dr. Quinn’s Medicine Woman, airing in 1993. More recently, Jane is known for her role as the self-titled professor turned private investigator character in the Dublin-based mystery series Harry Wilde. The series has been renewed for a second and third season following the first’s success in 2021.

During filming for the first season of Harry Wilde, Jane suffered a hairline fracture on her kneecap after a bad fall on set. Following the incident, she explained via Instagram that she managed to complete the scene and did not miss a “minute of work” regardless. “I thought I’d break the news to you all, I fell pretty badly on set about a week ago. I’ve got lots of hairline fractures on my kneecap. Got lucky comparatively! In spite of it, I managed to finish the scene and work all week… trying not to hobble. This is acting!” she captioned the video at the time, tagging Acorn TV.
