Gwen Stefani’s Son Kingston Debuts Live Performance Thanks To Blake Shelton

Gwen Stefani’s son, Kingston, recently had a platform to showcase his talent and debut performance at 17, thanks to his stepfather, Blake Shelton. Kingston, Gwen’s eldest son from her marriage to Gavin Rossdale, gave an impressive surprise show as he follows in Gwen and Blake’s footsteps.

Blake was excited to introduce his stepson to his customers after his freestyle acoustic session at his Ole Red bar in Tishomingo, Oklahoma. The teen did not disappoint as he confidently chatted and sang to the audience alongside a guitarist and keyboardist.

Blake introduced Kingston to his first audience

After Blake’s performance, he welcomed Kingston on stage, feeling “very honored to be the first one” to bring him up for his debut live performance. “This guy’s an artist, he’s the real deal and you guys are going to be able to say that you were there at his very first-ever public performance,” he said. “His music is rock so I bet we got some rock fans out here.”

Kingston stepped on stage wearing a long gray T-shirt paired with blue jeans. He wowed the crowd with some rock ballads and thanked them for their presence. “Love you guys, thank you for being here! Thank you, it means everything to me, really. I hope you guys had a great night, enjoy yourselves!” he said as the audience clapped and cheered.

Blake adores his stepson

After the performance, Blake joined his stepson on stage, and they both shared a big heartfelt hug. They have a great father-son relationship, with Blake revealing during the 2022 Country Radio seminar that he looked forward to being a parent when he started dating Gwen.

“I didn’t know what I was signing up for, but I was all about signing up for it…and every day, I’ve fallen in love with the boys as much as I do with Gwen,” he said. The couple first met as coaches on The Voice in 2014, and they got married in 2021 on Blake’s Oklahoma ranch. The 47-year-old has no biological children of his own, but Gwen has two other children aside from Kingston from her marriage to Rossdale.
