Christie Brinkley was at the Givenchy fashion event this week wearing a fitting, long dress while flaunting her blonde locks as she posed for photos. Brinkley shared a picture from the event on her Instagram page, tagging the designer brand with the caption, “The OG.”
Brinkley’s fans gushed about her beauty in the comments, with one person calling her a “world class beauty” still. “Goddess Christie, you beautify everything!” another person exclaimed. An Instagram user complimented Brinkley’s ruched blue dress, which she accessorized with platform sandals and a broad strapped black and white saddle bag.
How does Brinkley maintain her looks?

The 69-year-old is one of “the OG” models along with Naomi Campbell and Cindy Crawford. These top models have routines they adhere strictly to, to maintain their looks, and for Brinkley, she sticks to a vegetarian diet. Brinkley has been a vegetarian since her teenage years — before it became a trend — and she has now instilled the vegetarian lifestyle into her children.

In an Instagram post last year, Brinkley shared a video of her using her favorite beauty products while revealing her simple beauty secrets in the caption. “It’s what you do EVERY DAY that will determine how healthy and vibrant you look and feel! Sleep well, eat a rainbow organic diet, stay hydrated, and protect and care for your skin 24 hours a day,” she wrote.
The one beauty tip Brinkley was sorry for
In her first beauty book, Brinkley wrote about “the tan,” which was necessary for her job as a SI cover model. She later admitted in an interview that she grew up thinking “that the sun was a cure-all.”
“I literally had a couple of pages on how to get the best tan. One of the things I recommended — and I apologized for in my other beauty book— was sitting near the edge of the water for maximum reflection on you. Now we know it’s the number-one culprit in premature aging,” she said.
The beauty icon, who is very science-oriented, added that she fits workouts into mundane activities as she goes about her day. “Whether it’s walking down the beach and moving your arms like you’re swimming or picking up rocks and walking with them, you really start sweating and breathing heavily,” Brinkley added. “An example? While I’m brushing my teeth, I’m doing leg lifts. When I’m drying my hair, I do all kinds of squats.”
