Christie Brinkley often shares pictures of her two daughters, Alexa and Sailor, with heartfelt messages to them. Alexa Ray Joel’s photos went up on her mother’s Instagram page a few days ago, and fans could not hold back how impressed they were by her looks.
Alexa was lounging in the photo, with her hair let down in a side part. Christie also added some images of blooming summer flowers in the slides and two pictures of their pup. “Love the flowers, but your daughter is gorgeous,” a fan commented. “Happy Sunday. Beautiful photos. My favorites are the ones of your gorgeous daughter,” another wrote.

Alexa has shared the stage with her father, Billy Joel, several times. Like her dad, she has grown to become an accomplished singer, starting under her father’s mentorship as a little girl. Billy was a proud father upon the release of her single, “Seven Years,” in 2021. He praised her, telling her she sounded just like Christie.

Christie and Billy welcomed Alexa in December 1985; sadly, their marriage only lasted about nine years after that. Christie had two more children from her next two marriages, her last-born being Sailor, 25. Like her mom, Sailor is a model that has worked with top editorials and recognized brands.

Christie is an inspiration to her girls
Christie loves being a mother, and she adores her three children. The actress inspires her children, especially Sailor, who is on the same career path as Christie. “I think the biggest piece of advice that she gave me is to, first of all, be as kind as humanly possible to everyone around me that I’m working with,” Sailor said in an interview with Fox News Digital.
Alexa also claims she inherited much of her style from Christie. She told the news outlet in 2018 that her mother taught her to be confident and love herself. “I’ve learned pretty much everything from my mom. She’s taught me a lot about just taking care of yourself— skin care, great makeup tricks,” she said. “She’s really the most stylish woman I know. I’m just trying to keep up!”
