Reports have emerged regarding Morgan Freeman’s unfortunate medical emergency, which prevented him from attending the press event for his highly anticipated spy thriller, Special Ops: Lioness. Freeman’s spokesperson revealed to The Daily Mail that the 86-year-old actor is indisposed and receiving medical care.
“Morgan has a fever, and his doctor felt he had a contagious infection, so he canceled his trip,” Freeman’s spokesperson told the news outlet, “He is fine now.”

The actor was slated to make a press trip to the United Kingdom. However, his recent health update affected his plans as he missed out on joining his fellow lead actors, Zoe Saldaña and Nicole Kidman, on The One Show with host Alex Jones.

The actor’s colleague expressed their disappointment at the turn of events, confessing that they were upset not to have the opportunity to see Freeman in attendance.

However, it became evident on March 12, 2023, when he took the world stage alongside Margot Robbie to present a tribute to Warner Bros at the Academy Awards. While some viewers noticed his receding hairline, others found it peculiar that he wore a distinctive glove.
Following the observation, fans took to social media to ask questions. It was revealed that Freeman wore the compression glove to promote circulation in his arm, as he had sustained nerve damage from a car accident in 2008. Freeman sustained nerve damage in the lower left arm and hand, resulting in a loss of mobility.
