WWE icon Mark Calaway, who works under the stage name The Undertaker, asserted some of his physical dominance while some time in the water. His wife, who uses the ring name Michelle McCool, was confronted by a shark – and The Undertaker’s glare alone was enough to make it back off.
The Undertaker has been married three times; McCool is his third wife, who he married in 2010 and has been with ever since. In the ring, The Undertaker, 58, is regarded as one of the greatest professional wrestlers of all time – and it seems even creatures of the sea know to keep their distance.
The Undertaker confronts a shark that knows not to get into this fight
I was simply enjoying a book on the beach when this “vegetation” looked a lot like a shark…..so I text hubby @undertaker 🦈😳kinda digging that last picture …A LOT😍#myprotector 🖤 pic.twitter.com/z9goXelzNT

On July 9, McCool took to social media to share videos and photos of her time at the beach in some tropical getaway. She can be seen in the shallower parts of the water. The camera pans around from sand to water, showing an odd shape in the water.

“I was simply enjoying a book on the beach when this ‘vegetation’ looked a lot like a shark,” she shared, “so I text hubby @undertake.” Sure enough, the footage shows that what appeared to be very mobile vegetation was actually a nurse shark. But viewers can also see the Undertaker standing in the water, standing at his full height and staring down at the shark, who makes sure to put distance between itself and the WWE Hall of Famer.
Grateful for the sense of security, McCool added, “kinda digging that last picture …A LOT #myprotector.”

McCool shared a follow-up video crediting The Undertaker for putting some distance between the two of them and the nurse shark. “Guess I wasn’t big enough to scare him away – but you are,” she captioned the post.
For potential beach-goers, it’s worth noting that nurse sharks are considered non-aggressive and do not attack humans unless provoked, according to AZ Animals. But they can grow up to 14 feet and have characteristically strong jaws, so be mindful!
Also be mindful if confronting The Undertaker, who gave rise to a legendary event known simply as The Streak. This marks 21 consecutive victories secured by The Undertaker at WrestleMania.
