Ozzy Osbourne Cancels Performance At The Power Trip Festival After More Health Complications

Ozzy Osbourne has had a series of health challenges in his life, the most recent being his Parkinson’s diagnosis in 2020. Sadly, the singer’s medical condition has forced him to retire early from touring, but Osbourne has not given up on music, as he has continued to work on new projects and collaborations.

In March, Osbourne was listed among the lineup of headline acts for the inaugural Power Trip Festival, a three-day event scheduled at the Empire Polo Club Indio, California, from October 6th to October 8th.

The musician took to his social media pages to disclose that he would not be performing at the Power Trip festival. “As painful as this is, I’ve had to make the decision to bow out of performing on Power Trip in October. My original plan was to return to the stage in the summer of 2024, and when the offer to do this show came in, I optimistically moved forward,” Osbourne wrote in the caption. “Unfortunately, my body is telling me that I’m just not ready yet and I am much too proud to have the first show that I do in nearly five years be half-assed.”

The singer assures his fans that they will have a swell time with his replacement

Osbourne revealed that the band set to replace him would be announced very soon, and he believes his fans would still have a memorable time at the event. “They are personal friends of mine,” he wrote, “and I can promise that you will not be disappointed.”

The singer also appreciated his beloved fans who have stayed faithful to him throughout his career and health struggles. “Above all, I want to thank my fans, my band, and my crew for their unconditional loyalty and continual support,” Osbourne added. “I love you all and I will see you soon. God Bless, Ozzy.”
