Stella Banderas is the only child from the nearly 10-year marriage of ex-celebrity couple Antonio Banderas and Melanie Griffith, who divorced in 2015. Despite her parent’s separation, the 26-year-old has maintained a close relationship with both of them.
Stella has managed to stay out of the spotlight for a very large part of her life due to her parent’s decision to allow her to have a normal childhood. However, recently, Stella started attending high-profile events in the movie industry and also showcased herself via all of her social media platforms.

Stella Banderas and her mom, Melanie Griffith, are still close despite a potential strain in 2021
Despite a potential strain that could have arisen from Stella’s decision in late 2021, Stella Banderas and Melanie Griffith’s enduringly strong bond speaks volumes as they have both managed to maintain their close connection.
When Stella was born, she was named Stella Banderas Griffith; however, in 2021, Stella took the legal step of filing to have Griffith removed from her legal name. In the accompanying court documents, the 26-year-old provided an explanation for her choice to remove the moniker from her name. “To shorten my name by removing the extra last name,” Stella admitted, “I typically do not use “Griffith” when referring to myself or on documents. So, dropping the name would match my regular use.”
