During a recent and rare red carpet appearance, Michael Douglas and Catherine Zeta-Jones’ daughter, Carys, showcased her innate talent in front of the camera as she attended Cannes Film Festival in France alongside her celebrity parents.
The 20-year-old was present at the screening of the movie Jeanne Du Barry, which kicked off the film festival, and also witnessed the Honorary Palme d’Or, which was awarded to Douglas as a mark of recognition for his outstanding career and contribution to the development of the cinema.

The 20-year-old captivated onlookers in a white sheer gown adorned with intricate side cutouts, showcasing her youthful elegance. The duo also coordinated their accessories, sporting Chopard jewels, and Sarah Flint shoes.

For the event, Douglas exuded timeless sophistication in a classic black suit paired with a crisp white dress shirt and a black bow tie, while beaming a smile as he walked the carpet alongside his beloved wife and daughter.

The 78-year-old, while receiving the award, took time out to affectionately offer, “[I] also want to say hello to my wife and to thank her,” Douglas stated. “And my daughter, Carys, who are with us tonight, to thank you for your love, your support.”
The actor’s wife and daughter also showed their excitement about the event and took to their respective social media pages to share their delight. “Cannes! Cannes! What a soirée!,” Catherine wrote in an Instagram post alongside some pictures from the red carpet. “Walked the iconic red carpet with my daughter @carys.douglas and my husband @michaelkirkdouglas as he receives his lifetime achievement, Palm D’Or was a night I shall never forget, ever.”
