Recently, Charmed cast members and other celebrities like Sarah Michelle and Drew Fuller penned sweet tributes to Shannen Doherty on her 52nd birthday. Sarah dedicated an amusing post to portray their friendship.
“It’s your birthday, @theshando so in honor of you, here is a slideshow of some of more ridiculous stunts (swipe right) Any suggestions for new ones?” Sarah captioned the post. Shannen responded in the comments, saying they had been drinking a lot in the photos. “I love you S!” Shannen added.
More celebrities wish Shannen a happy birthday
Shannen’s co-star on Charmed, Drew Fuller also posted an Instagram story in celebration of the actress. “Your fight and your loyalty knows know [sic] equal. Happy birthday, love you so much,” he wrote. Michael Coste also shared an Instagram story wishing Shannen a happy birthday.

A source also had great things to say about the 52-year-old to PEOPLE, describing her as “one of the strongest people” they know. “She surrounds herself with people she loves, and she lives her life exactly how she wants to live it,” the source detailed. “She makes us all laugh every single day, and anyone who has a chance to stand in Shannen’s light should be considered lucky.”
Shannen celebrates herself amidst cancer battle
Shannen has been through health struggles for years, but she continues to inspire and work hard, starring in films like Dying to Belong, Fortress, and Hot Seat. In 2015, Shannen had a mastectomy and chemotherapy procedure; however, she announced in 2020 that she had been diagnosed again with stage 4 breast cancer.
“It’s going to come out in a matter of days or a week that— I’m stage IV. So my cancer came back. And that’s why I’m here,” she told Good Morning America in 2020. “I don’t think I’ve processed it. It’s a bitter pill to swallow in a lot of ways.” The actress has continued to use her platform to spread awareness about cancer.
