Kelly Ripa Shares Details ‘Ludicrous Sexual Rituals’ With Husband Mark Consuelos

Kelly Ripa claims she and her husband, Mark Consuelos engage in various “sexual rituals” to maintain their connection when they were separated due to work commitments. She disclosed the information on her Let’s Talk Off Camera podcast where she played host to her husband and their therapist, Dr. Linda Carter.

Ripa revealed that during the pandemic while they were filming in different cities, they discovered some spicy methods to keep their relationship strong. “We had sexual rituals that were so ludicrous,” she stated on the March 21 episode, “but I became so alarmed at my appearance over FaceTime that I started hanging the computer on a ladder so that I could look up to Mark [and] he did not have to see what gravity was actually doing.”

The celebrity couple detailed (who appeared as a guest in the episode) wore unique electronic bracelets that would indicate to them when the other person was thinking about them. “Any time I touch my bracelet, his bracelet in Vancouver would touch him, would vibrate,” Kelly explained, while Mark affirmed, “It’s really nice.”

Consuelos also revealed during the podcast that if Ripa ever decided to stop being sexually intimate with him, it could potentially become a dealbreaker for their relationship. “If you just decided like, ‘Yeah, we aren’t having sex anymore,’ I’d probably have a problem with that,” he said. However, he gave a caveat that there will be an exception if Ripa “had some type of medical condition where, like, you lost the use of [your body].”

Mark Consuelos says he is not a fan of makeup sex

In other parts of the episode, the love birds continued to engage in an open conversation about their romantic life. Ripa recounted how Consuelos had recently shared with Carter that he had come to the realization that “sex and intimacy were two distinct things.”

However, The Great Raid star blamed his late insight on his busy work life. “I’m going to blame it on the fact that I traveled so much, so a lot had to happen in the time that I was home,” Consuelos explained. “I wanted to get the intimacy in and the sex in, so they became one and the same.”

Consuelos concluded that he does not believe in makeup sex, an idea that his wife, Kelly Ripa seemed to love. “I don’t like drama, I don’t need to have makeup sex. I’d rather not do that,” he said. While Ripa responded, “That is fun sex though. That’s a good kind to have.”
