Demi Moore was married to fellow actor Bruce Willis in 1987 and split in 2000. But to this day, they all represent a blended family that consists of Willis and his current wife Emma Heming Willis, and his kids from both marriages. So, when Moore turned 60 this month, Emma was practically first in line to wish the Ghost star a happy birthday!

Moore celebrated six decades on November 11. Over the years, she and Emma have formed a friendship, with the two even spending time together on their birthdays since Willis wed her in 2009. Emma Heming Willis wishes Demi Moore a happy birthday

Emma took to Instagram to post a birthday message for Moore in her Stories, so it lasted the whole day. It featured a picture of Emma and Willis, each holding up their own copy of Moore’s memoir, Inside Out. Text along the picture shares the sweet message, “Happy Birthday @demimoore. We love you inside and out.” Inside Out came out in 2019 and details Moore’s private life, shining light on personal struggles over the years.

Some of those tribulations started when Moore was very young – and even before that. Moore was not yet born when her biological father divorced her mother, who was just 18. Growing up, Moore did not often get the chance to plant roots since her mother’s second husband moved them around a lot for work. Jump ahead to having a family of her own – sharing kids Scout, Rumer, and Tallulah with Willis – Moore is doing the exact opposite: being there for the family and being where she wants to be.

A history of redefining family

Back when the coronavirus pandemic hit the world, lockdown kicked in, and Moore actually ended up spending some of it with Willis. Recently, when Willis decided to retire from acting, the announcement came as a family statement shared by several of his loved ones.

Emma shares daughters Evelyn and Mabel with Willis. They were among the extensive crowd wishing Willis, who has been quietly enjoying retirement off the grid, a happy Father’s Day. In the tribute post, Willis was told his children are “so lucky to have you.” As for Moore and Emma, Moore posted about her saying, “I #SeeHer as family who I am honored to call a friend.”
