The Moody Blues, a seminal British rock ensemble formed in 1964, is known for its groundbreaking amalgamation of rock with symphonic nuances and thought-provoking lyrics. Originally comprising Ray Thomas, Mike Pinder, Denny Laine, Clint Warwick and Graeme Edge, the band initially found their roots in rhythm and blues before delving into more intricate musical compositions and philosophical narratives, solidifying their status as a highly influential force in the music scene.

The band had immense commercial success, with a staggering 70 million albums sold worldwide, including an impressive tally of 18 platinum and gold LPs. Sadly, most of the band members have passed away over the years and recently, the last survivor, Mike Pinder was announced dead at 82.
